Want to welcome the Spring season? What better way to do so than at the Canton Festival of the Arts Festival! Held in Brown Park in historic downtown Canton, Georgia, the 16th Annual Canton Festival of the Arts Festival returns for another year of fun this Saturday, May 4th. The festival features the Artist Market, Serenity Garden, Jack Fincher Jr. Rising Artist Area, Kids Zone and Food Court. Don’t miss it!
The popular Artist’s Market is the centerpiece of Canton Festival of the Arts, showcasing more than 50 local and national artists. Visitors will find handcrafted works of art, including paintings, jewelry, pottery, woodworking, glass, and sculptures. Textile will also be available for purchase at a variety of price points and styles. All artists will be on-site to share inspiring stories related to their pieces. Some will even demonstrate their craft!
Aspiring artists of all age are invited to participate in the sidewalk chalk art display on Saturday, May 4 from 10:00 – 3:00 p.m. Each registered participant will receive one box of chalk. Pre-registration is suggested but walk-ups are welcome as long as space and supplies are available. Other events will include Make and Take Art Stations and live entertainment.
This Saturday, everyone is invited to view the amazing works of art available at Canton Festival of the Arts Festival. Admission is free but the suggested donation is $5 per adult and $10 per family. For more information, visit www.cantonartfestival.com.
