Join the Atlanta Jugglers Association for their 41st Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival! Chock full of fun for spectators and participants alike, the Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival is a one-of-a-kind event you’re sure to love. Check it out this Saturday, January 26th at Yaarab Shrine Center.
At the Jugglers Festival, you'll find jugglers, unicyclists, hoopers, kendama, live music and family fun for all ages. Watch as the area’s most talented jugglers duke it out for the famous PHIL award at 2:00 p.m. You can even receive a free juggling lesson while there – just ask the registration table for more information.
Want to hang around and learn more about juggling? Take part in workshops from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. after you witness an entertaining round of juggling games. Once you’ve brushed up on your skills, watch the professionals at work during the Cabaret Show, which will begin at 9:00 p.m.
Atlanta Jugglers Association’s mission is to educate, entertain, enlighten and inspire through the art and skill of juggling. Their members teach juggling at local public libraries in the Atlanta area, the Renaissance Fair in April and May, and many schools and senior centers. Some members work at children's hospitals through Humorology Atlanta, which employs "clown doctors" who use the art of clowning to spread laughter and provide relief to those in need.
Admission is free to spectators and the public at large for all daytime events. The public is invited to watch activities in the gym anytime. For festival participants (jugglers, unicylists, yo-yoists, hoopers, etc.) registration for the entire weekend is 30 dollars.
At Augusta Commons Apartments in Marietta, Georgia, we find it important to attend events that stray from your typical routine. With that being said, we hope that this event will add something unique to your day. Be sure to check it out on Friday!
