Have you been looking for new ways to keep your children entertained, especially during their longer breaks from school? If you’ve exhausted your go-to list of kid-friendly movies, books, and board games, then you might want to consider one – or both – of these DIY projects. Fun and kid-approved, these two crafts will eat up any extra time and help you bond as a family. Not to mention, both are affordable since you can find the majority of these materials around your apartment home already. All you need is the time to devote to them! Check it out below.
Magnetic Tic Tac Toe
Materials:
- Cardboard
- Magnets
- Glue gun
- Marker
- A large magnetic surface, like your fridge
Instructions:
Cut out circles out of cardboard. You need 10 of them. Then, using a marker draw five Xs and five Os. Flip the cardboard circles over and, using hot glue, attach the magnet pieces. To play Tic Tac Toe, use a dry-erase marker to draw a big hashtag sign on the fridge and let the fun begin.
